How come the children are all turning 50?

Jodi got there first, with her first grandchildimg_2347

And then Andy did it, with a lovely family party and a little Irish golf

And now Nicky and Tripp.

Nicky had a smart dinner at a famous restaurant near their home in Bucks, UK (near Oxford). Looks like fun

Tripp was toasted and roasted at a party organized by Kim, at her parents house in Augusta, GA. Thanks Pete and Kay

There was a 50s theme, and tributes from family and some school chums.

I have only vague memories of my 50th at Duke. I was a bachelor then, and the nurses kindly gave me a party and a plastic partner for the evening.

At least it wasn’t a “wobblygram” that they arranged for someone else.

So what’s so special about 50? Marion and I just turned 150!

  2. Thank you for keeping your extended family…in touch!!! Privileged to have shared the moments!!! Happy Holidays….Alvin
