This is the last of the 3 books in which Jim takes Fred, Perdy, Jack and the gang exploring famous sights in USA. They travel the west coast, starting in Hollywood, where Fred gets a star, fly under the Golden Gate bridge, get locked up (temporarily) in Alcatraz, marvel at Yosemite, ski at Tahoe, visit Seattle, go dog-sledding in Alaska and hula-hooping on Hawaii. Lots of fun, and a few scares. Fun and educational.
